Charge RX

Branding / Logo Design / UX Testing

Charge RX is a startup that is aimed to solve the problem of a dead phone battery in the place where it matters most—a hospital. As a part of Scout, a student-run design studio, my team was tasked with creating a visual identity for the company, which encompassed a new logo, style guide, labels, packaging, and a website. (All work done in conjunction with Christina Allan, Isa Mendez, and Jennifer Heinz)

My Contribution: Logo iterations, Poster Design, Photography, Copy Writing

The posters were one of my main projects on the team, and with them I wanted to portray in a simple-to-understand yet meaningful way the impact these chargers could have. It was important to be sensitive but memorable with the messaging due to the sensitive nature of hospitals. In the graphics I wanted to be sure people knew this was a universal charger, so I used both Lighting and Micro USB cables to show that in a way that tied in with the brand.

These are some of my logos that ultimately weren't chosen. Some were too abstract, and others were too detailed to be used at small sizes. They did, however, portray the friendly and accessible nature of the product that the client wanted.

Once the final logo and labels were done, we had everything printed and then held a photo session in which I helped take some of the photos that now appear on the ChargeRX website. You can learn more about the product here !
